2nd Culinary and Pastry Contest
Cyprus Food Virtual Museum and the Culinary Arts Department of Intercollege of Nicosia organised for the 2nd time Culinary and Pastry Contest for children and teenagers from 10-18 years old.
Teenagers had the chance to get to know Cyprus traditions and long gone traditional tastes, familiarise themselves with the ingredients, the tastes and the scents of the traditional Mediterranean Diet and Cypriot Kitchen and to appreciate the value of a healthy homemade food.
Every recipe should contain two Cypriot recipes: one for main dish and one for dessert and should be executed within two hours.
On this two day event, there was also an exhibition with traditional food and drinks from Cyprus.
